Bothnian Bay Expeditions
Leave nothing but a track.
Born on these shores. Shaped by winters that arrive without warning and leave without asking permission. The knowledge of where the ice holds and where it doesn't - which routes the locals use when they want to disappear, which islands are worth the crossing - this was never taught. It was earned across decades of silence.
Every expedition departs directly from the shoreline. No queues. No managed experience. Just the ice, the cold, and guidance that comes from a life spent learning a place most people only see from a distance.
Snowmobiling
FIRST CONTACT
The shortest way to understand what JUSUKI is. We leave from the shoreline, choose the route based on conditions, and stop when the moment is right — not when the clock says so.
This is not a taster session. It is a full expedition, compressed.
2.5 hours — Private group, max 6 people
Your first ride beyond the tourist trails.
ARCTIC MISSION
No marked routes. No groups ahead of you. No schedule imposed from outside. We depart straight from the shore and navigate by conditions, experience, and the terrain itself.
This is the full JUSUKI experience — the one that takes you far enough that the resort disappears behind the horizon.
4 hours — Private group, max 6 people
Four hours on sea ice and backcountry terrain.
The northern lights are a side effect.NOCTURNAL NAVIGATION
Most people wait for northern lights from a hotel window. We go out to meet them — on a snowmobile, in the dark, across frozen sea ice.
The main event is not the lights. It is learning to move through Arctic darkness on your own terms.
3 hours — Private group, max 6 people
Snowshoeing
No engine. No noise. Just the sound of your own breathing.
SILENT EXPEDITION — DAY
We walk from the shore to islands that most people never reach. The route changes with conditions. The pace is yours. No schedule, no group ahead of you, no noise except wind and ice.
3-4 hours — Private group, max 6 people
Four kilometres across frozen sea ice. No crowds. No engine.
SILENT EXPEDITION — NIGHT
We snowshoe into the backcountry after dark. We find our spot on frozen lake or open ice. We stop. Northern lights overhead if the sky allows. A fire if conditions permit. Nothing else.
No engine noise. No other groups. Just the Arctic as it actually is — silent, vast, and indifferent to your schedule.
3-4 hours — Private group, max 6 people
The quietest place you will ever stand.“Step into solitude, feel the freedom, and let the horizon call you to explore.”
