After dark, the Bothnian Bay becomes another place entirely.
We leave artificial light behind and travel into the Arctic night. Across the frozen sea, the horizon opens and darkness takes over.
If the Northern Lights appear, we stop.
If they don't, there is still the moon, the stars, the cold and a kind of darkness increasingly difficult to find.
